How much does it cost to have bmw plug my car into their computer?

So I dont get ripped off can anyone tell me roughly what is a fair price for simply diagnosing the fault please?

    For this initial check.
    The same equipment it will be free at bmw specailist that has the same equipment it will charge around 80 for this initial check.
