Can I service my BMW which is on pre-owned warranty ouside a BMW dealership like MIDAS?

I bought a BMW from a private seller and it is under pre-owned waranty until 2009. Can i service it outside a BMW dealership and still keep my pre-owned warranty. Reasons - Cheaper and easy to find service appointments.
