I am currently looking for my first car. I want something that looks good but will last me a while. I found a 1993 BMW 325i for $3000 obo. My Dad doesnt want me to get a car like this because the parts will be expensive or he might not be able to work on it himself. My main questions are-

-Are parts hard to find?
-Can someone do most small repairs (new brakes etc) themselves?
-Are the parts expensive?
